EADS CFO to leave Airbus role

3:24pm GMT, Wednesday, 23 January 2008

Harald Wilhelm will assume the position of CFO at Airbus.

The Chief Financial Officer of aerospace and defence group EADS is to leave his role as CFO at the company’s subsidiary Airbus, the companies have announced.

Hans Peter Ring has undertaken the extra role since October 2006, however is stepping aside to refocus his time on his position as CFO of EADS.

He will be succeeded by his deputy Harald Wilhelm in February. Wilhelm was previously Airbus’ Chief Controlling Officer.
