Software Developer Jason Heuclin has joined ICM’s Head Office in Christchurch, UK.

ICM welcomes its newest member of the Head Office team, Software Developer Jason Heuclin, originally from Hastings in Sussex.

At 25 years-old, he is looking to bring a fresh outlook on the way that systems and processes work at the professional body, developing and implementing tailored software to streamline ICM’s complex operations.

Prior to his position at ICM, Jason worked as a senior developer at a travel software company in London for two and a half years, and before that for an aircraft interior factory based at Bournemouth International Airport.

He studied Computer Science at the respected University of Southampton, after being schooled in Sussex and taking part-time jobs for a landscaping and fencing firm, and as an ice-cream man!

Jason will work under Peter Rounce, Technical Development Manager, and also new to the Institute, and together they plan to introduce some big changes, which Jason is looking forward to seeing through to completion.

“Some of the things we are planning include a new membership database, more electronic forms, and photographic ID cards for students, which should go down well.”

Outside of work, Jason has recently become involved in go-karting, and would love to spend more time driving and potentially competing in the future – in any form of motorsport. He plays the piano, and enjoys eating out, watching movies and travelling – he once hiked through the Samaria Gorge in Crete, the longest in Europe.
