Playfish launches first social game for iPhone and iPod Touch
Playfish has announced that its social game Who Has The Biggest Brain? is now available on the iPhone™ and iPod® touch.
UK-based games developer Playfish has announced that its social game “Who Has The Biggest Brain?” is now available on the iPhone™ and iPod® touch.
Developed by one of the largest and fastest growing social games companies, the game features Facebook® Connect – enabling users to compete with their friends by allowing them to compare their brain size through a series of mini games.
Playfish currently has five of the 10 most popular social games on Facebook, with more than 60 million registered players around the world.
The addictive brain training game has so far been played by more than 15 million people since launching on Facebook in late 2007, and can now be downloaded on Apple’s App Store, with gameplay optimised specifically for Apple’s Multi-Touch user interface.
Kristian Segerstrale, CEO of Playfish, said: “Bringing Who Has The Biggest Brain? to iPhone and iPod touch is a natural extension of our mission to change the way the world plays games by creating experiences that are more social and connected.
“In addition to Facebook and other social utilities, we believe iPhone and iPod touch represent the next generation of entertainment platforms.”
Playfish is backed by Accel Partners and Index Ventures, and has offices in London, San Francisco, Beijing and Tromso, Norway.
