This company seeking a Business Development Manager to plan and carry out direct sales to develop and grow the sales of a construction and project management business in accordance with their growth strategy. This company is a core service provider of maintenance and construction services. This candidate will be mobile as well as office based. A competitive car package, mobile phone and laptop will be supplied.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update the prospects database 
- Respond to and follow up sales enquires by post, telephone and personal visits
- Lead generation to pro-actively increase the customer base
- Client relationship building.
- Pro-actively follow up all leads
- Maintain ‘Sales’ relationship with clients
- Produce weekly plans and target reports for the Management Team
- Liaise with Management Team to suggest new product development ideas

- Team Player
- Previous commercial experience essential
- Ability to effectively manage self and others
- Experience of Construction / Maintenance industry would be advantageous
