Business Development Manager, London

£35,000 to £45,000 per annum

Duties to include ensuring all customer/supplier agreements are effectively negotiated, procured, agreed, authorised and approved. Verify and check all partner requirements and calculations. Develop strong opportunity pipeline for sales opportunities. Build relationships with key contacts. Work closely with project team/s to develop creative solutions to customer needs. Organise regular meetings with Clients and relevant operations staff to report on performance. Develop and implement account plans for major accounts. Identify issues before they become problems through close contact with customer/s. Review logistics related investment opportunities.

The role will be based within the Logistics Department in the European Head Office, some European travel may be required.

They are looking for candidates who have 4 years plus within National Sales, Logistics, Account Management and proven success in Business Development.
Solid understanding and experience of the theory and practice of Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Transportation and associated Management Systems.

Experience in Retail, High-tech, Industrials / Chemicals, Automotive or Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Industries.

Ability to provide clear direction to operations or project support staff to gather necessary data and implement the right solution. Able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
