Business Development Manager, South Wales
£60,000 per annum
As Business Development Manager, you would be responsible for enhancing the company’s reputation and market status through self created leads and relationship building, establishing key contacts and obtaining detailed market information, producing business opportunities throughout Bristol and South Wales.
Projects will be within the Construction and Interiors markets, encompassing New Build, Refurbishment and Fit Out, varying from £1m to £20m in value.
Qualifications & experience required:
- In depth understanding of the construction & interiors market
- In depth understanding of all the key stakeholders in the marketplace
- Excellent lead generation, relationship building and stakeholder management
- Ability to challenge traditional methodologies and have innovative approaches to obtaining new business
- Ability to listen and articulate effectively
- Exceptional professional presentation and communication skills
- Ability to extract and translate customer requirements and develop comprehensive proposals that meet every need
- Understanding of the different procurement routes and contractual arrangements
- Strong commercial acumen
- Presence and knowledge to be credible at all levels within an organisation
