Business Development Manager - Pharmaceuticals - The Netherlands

This company has built a strong reputation as a developer and supplier of innovative drug formulations. Its customer base includes leading companies in both the innovative as well as the multi-source pharmaceutical industry. Currently they employ 45 highly skilled professionals. The company culture can be characterised as entrepreneurial, informal and focused on customer-satisfaction.

Job Description:

- Responsible for out licensing products which are in the final stage of their development, as well as developing new business opportunities and managing existing relationships in Europe
- You will negotiate with business partners on the licensing terms and successfully conclude contracts.
- Furthermore, you will provide input for the annual sales planning and forecasting, and develop CRM.
- The Business development manager has strong interaction with the pharmaceutical R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Intellectual Property department.
- Travelling across Europe (30-40%) is an essential part of the job.

Profile:

- Significant relevant commercial experience.
- Experience in generic pharmaceutical or related industry.
- Experience in market analysis.
- Outstanding command of the English language.
- Commercial skill and do business with high-level customers.
- Turn distinctive product features into competitive advantage.
- Demonstrable negotiation and communication skills.
- Understanding of related legal issues.
- Flexible, dynamic and able to work in a structured and well-organised manner.
