FTSE 100 BUSINESS based on the M3/M4 Corridor. Due to recent new business wins and company restructure this company is seeking to strengthen their commercial team.
Job Description:
- Reporting to the Commercial Director of one of the fastest growing business units, Working with the Financial Analysts the senior commercial manager will have responsibilities for supporting new business pipeline as well as extensions and further renegotiation.
- The role will be primarily responsible for providing commercial support to the divisions, leading negotiations with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- You will be required to liaise with various business units to gather requirements to provide risk analysis and feasibility of proposed contracts.
- The successful applicant will be required to accurately understand technical and financial information and convert into contracts documentation.
- Analyse key risks in the contract that affect growth, profits and cash flow for the company.
- Due to the nature of the business you will be required to obtain security clearance and will have worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 years to be considered.
Person Specification:
As solid track record of commercial management in large companies bidding for and negotiating complex long term contracts within Government or Telecommunications/IT.The successful candidate will have a track record of demonstrating a high level of commercial, legal and financial ability. Strong negotiation and influencing skills are paramount for this role as is excellent communication skills both written and oral.
