Commercial Manager, Maidenhead

£75,000 per annum

This company is one the world’s leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry who have an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Manager to be head office based who will be responsible for establishing a clear framework for integrated customer / client relationship management and competitor analysis.

You will hold key business relationships with the national commercial team, regional directors, and technical / corporate functions. You will be targeted on year on year customer profit growth and the establishment of clear and concise commercial plans for customers.

Key responsibilities of this role include: -

- Create, develop and implement account plans for assigned national customer accounts 
- Ensure business-to-business relationships are developed and maintained to achieve account plans and major project targets
- Using customer relationships - work alongside Major Projects team to secure major projects 
- Facilitate effective integrated market management strategies for business line customer account and core sales in conjunction with business line commercial structures

- Negotiation and influencing skills 
- Analytical and problem-solving skills 
- Ability to motivate and manage a team 
- Previous management-level experience in a commercial or project management role 
- Demonstrable success in accounts strategy/ management 
- University degree or equivalent higher qualification 
- An advanced degree will be a plus
