Commercial Manager, South Yorkshire

£40,000 to £50,000 per annum

This leading FMCG food business with offices across the UK are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to manage Tesco’s.

The role will involve the delivery and execution of the customer business plan, including the use of leading edge consumer insights and delivery in key categories. You will be expected to develop the business plan to ensure continual growth and category success built on the strength of the customer relationship.

In this role you will be an integral part of the leadership team and be expected to influence people and the direction of the categories to ensure the delivery of profit targets.

The key areas for strategic decision making for the Commercial Manager are as follows:

1. Sales and margin – delivering to targets as set out in budget (and stretch targets)
2. Driving profitable new business via innovation in all areas proactively identifying the risks and opportunities and engaging the team in the problem solving to agree the solution and the execution of the agreed action plan
3. Develop and agree with the Commercial Controller Commercial business plans

In order to be successful in your application you must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the FMCG food marketplace including: products, competitors and consumers. You must also have previous Top 4 National Account Management experience and have gained this within a chilled food manufacturing environment.
