6:22pm GMT, Wednesday, 9 January 2008

Giraffe’s newest restaurant will open in February in Oxford.

Colourful family restaurant chain Giraffe has today announced plans to open six new outlets and a concession at Heathrow Terminal 5 over the next ten months.

The new high street restaurants will be located in Oxford, Cambridge, South Kensington, Brighton, Bristol and Victoria.

Oxford will be the first new opening of the year, scheduled to start trading on 15 February. The Cambridge outlet will open in March and South Kensington in April.

The new openings will bring the award-winning restaurant group’s UK total to 29.

Russel Joffe, Founder and Director at Giraffe, commented on the announcement: “The strategy for the year is focused on a sensible and patient growth for the year whilst looking for great opportunities in good locations around the UK.”
