$9m boost for Australia’s tourism industry

The Australian Government has announced a AUS $9 million (£5 million) boost for its tourism industry, focusing on the way it is promoted in international and domestic markets.


US magazine Entertainment Weekly has launched the first video advert embedded into print, under the direction of the broadcaster CBS and drinks maker Pepsi.


Oxford Airport (OXF - Kidlington) has been renamed London Oxford Airport, even though it is 60 miles from the capital’s centre.


Microsoft has sold its advertising arm – Razorfish – to French advertising and communications agency, Publicis Groupe, for around $530 million (£318m).
