Morphing technology by T-Mobile

T-Mobile has launched a fun new Facebook application.

T-Mobile has launched a Facebook application that allows users to morph between two and five of their friends’ or celebrities’ faces into one.

As one of the world’s largest mobile operators, the company has designed the unique ‘MyFave Mates Morpher’ application to complement its MyFaves tariff. It is available as a downloadable application on the popular social networking site, Facebook.

Vanessa Potts, Head of Post-Pay at T-Mobile, said: “The MyFaves Mates Morpher application allows people to find out what their ultimate friend – a mixture of their MyFaves – would look like as one. The MyFaves tariff was created with community in mind, bringing our customers closer to the people who matter most by offering them unlimited contact with their ‘inner circle’ across any network.

“Our research showed that we all have an inner circle of around five friends and this application allows Facebook users to explore their MyFaves, deciding who should be in their top five whilst having a bit of fun morphing them together. And some might be shocked by the end result!”

Earlier this month, T-Mobile announced a free wi-fi facility for all its broadband customers, becoming the first mobile operator to offer access to a wi-fi network as part of a mobile broadband price plan. It also announced a deal with Yahoo! in which advertisers can reach customers by providing targeted graphic advertisements on their mobile phones.

T-Mobile is one of the largest mobile networks with 17 million customers in the UK and over 112m worldwide.
